About Me

Being retired, I utilize my skills sets to assist family in setting up and problem solving their devices and connections. I have also been helping friends who use assistive technology and the elderly in my community. This has led naturally to my involvement with ASG members who have questions about doing things on their computers.

My first involvement with computers was using Mac OS in the early 80's at college. I switched to PCs in 1987 when I joined the military. I used them in my graduate program and other jobs until my retirement. In 2008, I returned to Apple Mac products.

I have experience in health care, education and non profit website development, email management, communications, forum/group administration, Goolge Apps/G-Suite/WorkSpaces administration, social media, privacy, security, data archives, hardware, software and other technology related activities.

Before retiring I worked in Clinical, Administrative, Executive Nursing, Nursing Education and Informatics, Hospital, Clinic, Home Health and Surgical Nursing settings. I have used Unix, Linux, Windows and Mac opertaing systems to create and deliver content. I have worked in military, academic and government environments. Since retiring I have served on the Boards of Non Profit and Not for Profit organizations.

My current hobbies are Research, Sewing, Reading and Community Service.
